Not because they’re on every “Top 10 Things to Do” list.
But because, for a brief moment, they made the world feel a little slower, a little quieter and a little more beautiful.
Cocktails & Cathedrals was created to collect those places.
The hidden cafés where time disappears.
The historic hotels with stories in their walls.
The libraries that smell of old paper.
The medieval streets that seem untouched by time.
And, every now and then, the perfectly mixed cocktail that somehow becomes part of the memory too.
Meet Britt & Tyler
We’re an Australian couple who have spent years wandering through Europe, camera in hand, always searching for places with character rather than crowds.
We’d almost always choose the quieter street over the busiest square, the independent bookshop over the shopping centre, and the century-old hotel over the newest luxury resort.
Some of our favourite travel memories have come from places we discovered completely by accident.
That’s exactly what we hope this journal helps you find.

Travel doesn’t have to be rushed.
